I’m Sydney Speicher, a lifelong resident of Midway and a first-generation college student from a working-class family. I earned my bachelor’s degree in political science from PennWest California, and I’m currently pursuing my Master of Law at the University of Pittsburgh. I’m an active member of the Women’s Caucus of the College Democrats of America currently serving on the Executive Board as Inclusion Chair.

I am running for State Representative because I want to make a real difference for the people of District 15. I believe in fact-based policymaking, protecting public health, funding our public schools, and making life more affordable for working families. I also support affordable healthcare, local businesses, and strong environmental health protections, and I oppose new data centers in our district and AI technologies that threaten jobs, privacy, or community safety.
